If you want to go far – go together.”
SYSTEMS LEADERSHIP
Are you making the most of partnerships with your local schools?
Would you enjoy developing your professional relationships with other like-minded local Headteachers?
Our Managing Director spent several years as the strategic lead and chairperson for a cluster of schools. In this time he devised and led a successful and sophisticated model for school evaluation which focused on the effectiveness of leadership and management.
The aim of the process was for Headteachers and Senior Leaders to challenge and validate the SEF judgements in each other’s schools; a system of reciprocal peer review.
Typically, schools worked in leadership trios each taking a turn to carry out 'leadership reviews' - one per term over the course of the academic year.
The recipient Headteacher and school would choose its development foci and the other two Headteachers from the leadership trio would spend one day carrying out a range of monitoring activities (as chosen by the recipient school).
These aforementioned activities would be quality assured by an independent school improvement consultant who would facilitate the process.
The benefit of an independent school improvement consultant is that they are:
-
100% impartial and objective
-
not working for the Local Authority or OFSTED and therefore they have no agenda, other than the success of the project and meeting your exact needs
Let us:
-
help you to devise a leadership and management project across your cluster of schools
-
provide you with a highly skilled professional facilitator.
We will tailor our support to meet the cluster's needs.
